Effect
The caster chooses a light horse or pony. The summoned steed serves willingly and appears with a bit, bridle and riding saddle, making it immediately useful for travel.
Using Mount
The spell is practical rather than spectacular. It can provide transport after a horse is lost, help a messenger cover distance or let a lightly equipped caster keep pace with mounted companions. The duration makes it useful for journeys measured in hours rather than a single encounter.
Material Component
A bit of horse hair.
