Dinosaur, Prenocephale
Prenocephale is a bipedal dinosaur with a distinctive dome-shaped head.
A Prenocephale is a bipedal dinosaur that has a distinctive dome-shaped head and is covered in rough scales. It has a powerful tail that it uses for balance and defense, and it is known for its stubbornness and aggressive behavior.
The Prenocephale roams the land in search of food and uses its headbutt and tail sweep attacks to defend itself from predators or to hunt prey. It can charge forward and ram into its target with great force, knocking it down and causing additional damage.
When hunting or defending its territory, they can work together with other members of its pack, using its pack tactics ability to gain an advantage in battle. In its natural habitat, the Prenocephale can hide in the dense foliage or rocky terrain, waiting to ambush its prey.

Abilities
Charge. If Prenocephale moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a headbutt attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 9 (2d8) bludgeoning damage.
Pack Tactics. Prenocephale has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of its allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.
Stubborn. Once Prenocephale has chosen a target, it does not stop its attack until either the target or itself is defeated.
Lair Actions
Prenocephale’s lair is typically an area with dense foliage or rocky terrain that allows them to hide and ambush prey. Whenever a creature enters the lair, the following lair actions can be taken in initiative order:
- Camouflage. They can spend a lair action to hide in natural terrain, gaining advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks until it moves or takes an action.
- Ambush. They can spend a lair action to charge and headbutt a target that it had previously hidden from, gaining advantage on the attack roll.
- Terrain Disruption. The creatures can spend a lair action to create difficult terrain by knocking over boulders or felling trees.
