This thick rod functions as a +2 light mace. It also grants its wielder the ability to stay on his feet through any weather, as if he wore sandals of stability. The wielder can also cast mending three times each day, though only on sailing equipment (like sails), and charm animal (on fish and other marine life only) twice per day.
