  • Benefit Add one-half the maximum result of your race’s maximum age modifier to your normal middle age, old, and venerable age categories. Calculate your maximum age using the new venerable number. This feat can’t lower your current age category.
  • Special You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects stack.

How Extended Life Span Works

Extended Life Span pushes a character’s racial aging categories farther into the future. Add one-half of the maximum result of the race’s maximum-age modifier to the normal middle-age, old and venerable thresholds, then calculate maximum age from the new venerable value.

Repeated Selections

The feat can be taken more than once, and its effects stack. Each selection extends the aging thresholds again using the feat’s rule. This can produce extremely long-lived epic characters without making them younger than they already are.

Important Limit

Extended Life Span cannot lower the character’s current age category. If a character is already old or venerable when the feat is taken, the feat extends future aging thresholds but does not reverse age already accumulated.
