Celestial Armor
Celestial Armor is exceptionally light enchanted chainmail that can carry its wearer into the air. It is a specific Pathfinder 1E and D&D 3.5e item; neither 5e ruleset has a direct core SRD item with the same package of +3 armour, light-armour handling and once-per-day flight.

5.5e / 2024
No direct core SRD item under this name. A 2024 conversion should define the base armour, AC bonus, flight activation, duration, recharge and Attunement requirement explicitly. Do not import maximum Dexterity, spell-failure or armour-check-penalty values, which do not belong to 2024 D&D.
5e / 2014
No direct core SRD item under this name. A 2014 conversion should likewise use 5e AC and flight rules instead of the 3.x armour-stat framework.

Why Celestial Armor Matters
Celestial Armor combines three things that heavy martial equipment rarely offers together: strong protection, light-armour handling and controlled access to flight. In 3.x that combination is the real reason the item is prized.
Run It at the Table
- 3.x: remember the unusually high maximum Dexterity bonus and reduced armour penalties as well as the once-per-day fly effect.
- 5e conversion: decide the base armour, AC benefit, flight duration and recharge explicitly instead of copying spell-failure or armour-check statistics.
- Flight is limited: the legacy item does not grant permanent unrestricted flight.
Treasure and World Use
Celestial Armor works well as the equipment of an order that values mobility, rescue and rapid intervention rather than simply standing in a shield wall. Its appearance under ordinary clothing also makes it plausible as ceremonial or diplomatic armour.
