Web of Arachne
Arachne challenged the goddess Athena to a weaving contest, and defeated the goddess, who transformed her into a spider in revenge. This silvery web is the piece the unfortunate young woman wove for that contest.

Web of Arachne can be worn like a great cloak, complete with hood. The fabric is woven so tightly that it actually deflects arrows and other weapons, granting its wearer a +4 deflection bonus to AC. The soft material also muffles sound, giving its owner a +10 competence bonus on Move Silently checks, and a +10 competence bonus on Hide checks in dim lighting as the muted silvery gray blends into the shadows. The web’s greatest power, however, is its ability to resist magic while wrapped in the cloak, the wearer gains a +5 resistance bonus on all saves versus spells and spell-like abilities.
