Iron Vial
An iron vial is a small metal bottle made for carrying a tiny quantity of liquid in a container tougher than ordinary glass.

Why Use Iron?
The vial is useful when the contents matter more than seeing them. Metal protects against many of the knocks and impacts that would shatter a glass container, making it suitable for travel through ruins, wilderness or battlefields.
Limitations
An iron vial is not indestructible. Crushing force, corrosion, heat or a sufficiently strong blow can still damage it. The opaque container also makes it harder to inspect the contents without opening it.
Adventure Use
Such a vial can carry a potion, poison, rare oil, alchemical sample or a single ounce of some suspicious fluid. A sealed iron container can itself become a clue: whatever its owner carried was important enough to protect.
