Necromancy

Level: Archery 6
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 minute/level (see text)

Each time you fire an arrow while this spell is in effect, you may choose to take a hit point of damage to add an additional 1d6 to your arrow damage. You must decide whether to sacrifice hit points in this way before you make your attack roll, and cannot spend more than 3 hit points on any single shot. This hit point loss cannot be negated by any means; if any spell or effect would prevent you from taking the damage yourself, the extra damage is not added. If you are magically healed during the spell’s duration, the spell ends. Should you score a critical hit while under the effects of sacrificial shot the additional damage dice are not multiplied.
