• Prerequisites Dexterity 21, Wisdom 19, Deflect Arrows, Improved Unarmed Strike.
• Benefit You can deflect any ranged attacks (including spells that require ranged touch attacks) as if they were arrows.

How Exceptional Deflection Works

Exceptional Deflection expands Deflect Arrows so that the same deflection ability can be used against any ranged attack covered by the feat, including spells that require ranged touch attacks.

Exceptional Deflection Example

An attacker fires an arrow at the character and a spellcaster later makes a ranged touch attack with a spell. Exceptional Deflection allows both kinds of ranged attack to be treated as deflectable attacks when the underlying Deflect Arrows rules permit a deflection.

Prerequisites

The feat requires Dexterity 21, Wisdom 19, Deflect Arrows and Improved Unarmed Strike. It is therefore aimed at highly developed unarmed or martial characters with exceptional reactions.
