Crimson Candle of Courage and Protection
At a Glance
The Crimson Candle of Courage and Protection is a legacy magic candle that projects an empowering emotional effect around itself while it is being used.
Legacy Rules
Anyone who remains near the candle receives the effect of the Emotion spell, with the source stating that the effect is doubled.
- Prerequisites: Craft Magic Candle and Emotion.
- Caster Level: 10th.
- Market Price: 3,000 gp.
Using the Candle
The candle is most useful when a group can remain within its effective area. The exact Emotion effect, duration and meaning of the doubled benefit come from the source spell and legacy rules rather than from a new interpretation on this page.
Edition Note
This is a legacy magic item. Modern editions handle emotional and morale effects differently, so do not apply these statistics unchanged outside their original rules context.
