Tituba is a strikingly beautiful and cunning woman with long, curly black hair and piercing green eyes. She is a master of manipulation and deception, using her powers of charm and persuasion to bend others to her will. Tituba grew up in the Spanish colonies in the Caribbean, where she learned the ways of voodoo magic from her grandmother. She honed her craft over the years, becoming a powerful practitioner of the dark arts.

When Tituba moved to Salem, Massachusetts, she saw an opportunity to expand her influence and power. She joined the Puritan community, using her charm and charisma to win over the local women, who were drawn to her exotic mystique. But Tituba was not content with being a mere member of the community. She sought to gain control over the town, and she knew that the easiest way to do so was by accusing people of witchcraft.

Tituba began to spread rumors and lies about her neighbors, accusing them of consorting with the devil. Her accusations sparked a witch hunt that would ultimately result in the deaths of dozens of innocent people. She reveled in the chaos and destruction she had wrought, relishing in her newfound power.

But her ambitions did not stop there. She sought to become the most powerful witch in Salem, and she knew that the only way to achieve that was by making a deal with the devil himself. Tituba willingly offered up innocent lives as sacrifices, hoping to gain favor with the dark powers she worshipped. But her lust for power blinded her to the consequences of her actions, and she soon found herself facing a reckoning that would change the course of her life forever.

In her quest for power, she has made many enemies, including the local reverend and his wife, who have long suspected her of being a witch. She has also attracted the attention of a group of witch hunters who are determined to put an end to her reign of terror. But Tituba is a survivor, and she will do whatever it takes to stay one step ahead of her enemies and maintain her grip on Salem.

Multiattack. Tituba makes two melee attacks.

Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.

Hex (1/day). As a bonus action, Tituba can place a curse on a creature she can see within 90 feet. The target must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or take an extra 14 (4d6) necrotic damage the next time it takes damage. The curse lasts for 24 hours or until Tituba uses this feature again. If the target drops to 0 hit points before the curse ends, Tituba can use a bonus action on a subsequent turn of hers to curse a different creature.

Charm Person (2/day). One humanoid of Tituba’s choice that she can see within 30 feet of her must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be magically charmed by Tituba until the spell ends or Tituba or her companions do anything harmful to it. The charmed creature regards her as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected. Although the target isn’t under Tituba’s control, it takes Tituba’s requests or actions in the most favorable way it can. Each time Tituba or her companions do anything harmful to the target, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Tituba is a 7th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). She has the following spells prepared:

  • Cantrips (at will): mage hand, minor illusion, thaumaturgy
  • 1st level (4 slots): charm person, command, dissonant whispers
  • 2nd level (3 slots): hold person, invisibility
  • 3rd level (3 slots): bestow curse, fear
  • 4th level (1 slot): evard’s black tentacles


She is ruthless and ambitious, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals, including sacrificing innocent lives to dark powers. Despite her evil nature, Tituba is not without her own code of honor, and she is fiercely loyal to those who prove themselves useful to her.

She is a talented spellcaster, specializing in curses and mind control magic, and she carries a vial of poison for more direct methods of dealing with her enemies. Her arcane focus is a crystal ball, through which she can scry on her targets and gain information to use against them. Tituba’s ultimate goal is to gain power and control, to become the most feared and respected witch in Salem and beyond. She sees herself as a queen, and those who defy her will suffer the consequences.
