The subject gains 1d3 points of Strength and 1d3 points of Constitution for the duration, with the normal legacy effects on attacks, damage, saving throws and other derived statistics.

Hit Points gained from the temporary Constitution increase are ordinary Hit Points produced by the higher Constitution score, not temporary Hit Points. They disappear when Constitution returns to normal.

Material component: several leaves from the Spring Adonis plant.

Edition Boundary

Modern editions do not generally modify ability scores in this way with a low-level buff. Keep the +1d3 Strength and Constitution mechanic confined to legacy d20 play.
