Anyone other than you touching the page comes into contact with the deadly toxin. The use of gloves or other protective devices adds a +4 circumstance bonus to the victim’s saving throw. The poison inflicts 1d8 points of temporary Constitution damage immediately and another 1d8 points of temporary Constitution damage 1 minute later. The victim receives a Fortitude save to negate the damage in both instances.

The DC for a rogue using her Search skill to detect venomous pages is 29.
