As sacrifice, but this ritual goes one step further by requiring the death of a sentient being. The dead person’s energies are conferred upon the subject, who gains temporary hit points equal to half the victim’s hit points, a +5 profane bonus to AC, and a profane bonus on attack rolls equal to half the victim’s base attack bonus.

Material Component: Sacrificial humanoid.

Focus: Ceremonial dagger and ceremonial bowl.
