If Saehrimnir takes fire or radiant damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of its next turn. Saehrimnir dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate.

Keen Smell. The keen senses of Saehrimnir grant it advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Bountiful Harvest. Its flesh is a delicacy for gods and celestial beings. Consuming Saehrimnir grants the consumer 24 hours of immunity to disease and poison, as well as the benefits of a long rest.

If the creature successfully eats Saehrimnir, it gains 20 temporary hit points and becomes immune to the charmed condition for 24 hours. On a successful save, creatures take 55 (10d10) psychic damage and aren’t charmed.

Legendary Actions

Saehrimnir can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Saehrimnir regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

  1. Regenerative Feast. It uses its Regeneration trait to regain hit points.
  2. Terrifying Roar (Costs 2 Actions). It emits a terrifying roar. All creatures within 60 feet must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute.
  3. Devouring Strike (Costs 3 Actions). It makes a single Tusk attack. If the attack hits, the target is grappled (escape DC 18) and takes ongoing slashing damage equal to Saehrimnir’s Tusk damage. The grapple ends if Saehrimnir uses this action again or if the target is moved more than 60 feet away from Saehrimnir.
