Atlantis

Atlantis is a large island located in the middle of the Atlantic ocean populated by a noble and powerful race that own great technology.

When Poseidon fell in love with a mortal woman, Cleito, he created a dwelling at the top of a hill near the middle of the island and surrounded the dwelling with rings of water and land to protect her. Cleito gave birth to five sets of twin boys who became the first rulers of Atlantis.

At the top of the central hill, a temple was built to honor Poseidon which houses a giant gold statue of Poseidon riding a chariot pulled by winged horses. It was here that the rulers of Atlantis come to discuss laws, pass judgments, and pay tribute to Poseidon.

To facilitate travel and trade, a water canal was cut through of the rings of land and water running south to the sea.

The city of Atlantis sits just outside the outer ring of water and spreads across the plain this is a densely populated area where the majority of the population live. Beyond the city is a huge fertile plain surrounded by another canal used to collect water from the rivers and streams of the mountains. The climate is such that two harvests are possible each year. Surrounding the plain to the north are mountains, villages, lakes, rivers, and meadows dot the mountains. Besides the harvests, the island provides all kinds of herbs, fruits, and nuts. An abundance of animals roam the island.

The people of Atlantis possess an immense wealth, and have at their disposal all kinds of supplies in endless abundance. Around their metropolis there is a circular system of channels and bridges with towers and gates and circular walls of stone which are coated with brass, tin and orichalcum

Historically the island was a center for trade and commerce. The rulers of this land hold sway over the people and land of their own island and well into Europe and Africa.

For generations the Atlanteans lived simple, virtuous lives. But slowly they began to change. As time passed each succeeding king tried to outdo the other and built a greater kingdom. Eventually Atlantians became greedy and corrupt. When Zeus saw the immorality of the Atlanteans he gathered the other gods to determine a suitable punishment.

Soon, in one violent surge it was gone. The island of Atlantis, its people, and its memory were swallowed by the sea.

Atlantis is ruled by a high king and council of ten. The ten rulers who each govern their own province, assembling every five years, administering the public affairs and delivering judgement according to the law which Poseidon handed down to them and inscribed on a sacred pillar.

Crystals vary in patterns or sizes color combinations and tones. Crystals follow harmonic frequencies and could be used with an instrument that looks like a tuning fork.

On a higher level, rooms made of crystals are places where the initiates leave their bodies in the Final Transcendence,(to plane shift) often never to return.
