Beelzebufo uses its defensive abilities and strengths to be a successful ambush predator, hiding in arid scrub plants and hopping out at the last second to attack its prey. Some desert shamans use the skin secretions of beelzebufo as ingredients in potions and as spell material components.

Swallow Whole (Ex): Beelzebufo’s odd shape allows it to swallow atypical amounts of life. A beelzebufo’s stomach can hold 1 Tiny creatures, 2 diminutive creatures, or 4 fine creatures. A creature in its gullet takes 1 point of acid damage per round. A creature may attempt to cut out of the toad by dealing an appropriate amount of slashing or piercing damage to the innards (hp 2, AC 11).
