Kopis
Greek hoplite (standing) fighting against a Persian archer. Both are using a kopis. Depiction in ancient kylix, 5th century BC, National Archaeological Museum of Athens.

This is a heavy, odd-shaped sword, with a single edge and a forward curve much like a kukris. It is very difficult to master, but can be devastatingly effective, especially with a downward blow.
