Description

Catnip (also known as catswort or catmint) is a flowering type of mint plant that grows abundantly throughout jungles. To felines, catnip is a stimulant that increases pleasure and reaction times.

Once the stimulating effects have worn off, an affected feline becomes sluggish for several hours, and must wait until the sluggishness wears off before it can gain the benefits of catnip again. Even large felines such as lions and tigers react to catnip, though they may need a larger dose to be affected. Catnip has no effect whatsoever on any creatures except felines.
