A small Imperial Free City, fifteen of Lindau’s dwarves were burned at the stake after murdering a human child. The Lindauer Kinderfest (children’s festival) was built in memory of the child. This festival began an important part of the town’s identity and commerce with people coming from around the empire to the carnival which features various attractions, rides and games, as well as other events for the entertainment of children.
