• Prerequisites: Familiar class feature but no familiar called, Ability to cast arcane spells without preparation.
• Benefit: You lose the ability to call a familiar but gain the Eschew Materials feat and a Metamagic feat of your choice as bonus feats.
• Special: You may only take Background feats as a 1st-level character.
