Reduce Spell (Metamagic)

You can cast spells with reduced ranges, areas, and durations.

• Benefit: A reduced spell has 50% its normal range, lasts half as long as normal, and, if the spell is a burst, emanation, line, or spread-shaped spell, affects 50% of the normal area. For you to apply this feat to any spell, the spell must have at least two qualities that would be reduced, such as range and duration or duration and area. A reduced spell takes up a spell slot one level lower than the spell’s actual level, to no lower than 1st level.
