You can cast a spell requiring a touch attack as a more powerful spell requiring a melee attack.

• Benefit: Any spell requiring a touch attack roll or ranged touch attack roll can instead be cast as a spell requiring a regular melee attack roll or ranged attack roll, respectively, with a +1 bonus to its Difficulty Class. An embattled spell takes up a spell slot of the spell’s normal level.
