The armoured elephant tower is in most ways identical to the normal elephant tower, but is designed to more easily cope with the rigors of the battlefield. The sides of the armoured elephant tower are covered with steel plating, and the ropes used to secure the device to the back of the elephant or mammoth have been replaced by chains. The armoured elephant tower has a hardness of 10 and 50 hit points.
