This disease is passed on via the bite of infected animals, particularly those that frequent sewers, such as rats and otyughs or giant flies; or feed on carrion, such as a giant vulture. It is also known that the undead can spread the disease, for instance, huecuva and penanggalen. Symptoms appear within 1–3 days and include general fatigue and muscle and joint aches. If left untreated it can kill the average human in under a week.
