Cosmic Awareness: Firelord did not possess true cosmic awareness but a lesser version as granted by his master. Firelord was able to see up to 10 miles with ease, suffering no penalties within this range to spot checks. He also received a +10 bonus on all Listen, Search, and Spot checks he makes. Firelord is also able to detect any source of energy within a 1000 miles radius. Hee can detect powerful energy sources (beings with energy powers that inflict 20d6+ damage) at a range of 50,000 miles. Firelord is also able to communicate with any creature with a language though an innate form of telepathy and language adaption.
Energy Control: Firelord has shown the ability to control a number of energies. In the past he had proven to be able to manipulate fire, heat, gravity, and radiation. He can manipulate these energies in virtually unlimited capacity including that which he generates. If someone else with energy control attempts to control the same energy as him they must make an opposed roll. (Firelord checks on 1d20+30). Firelord has performed a number of various tasks with his energy control a few samples are given. He may choose to have anyone touching energy she is controlling to take 15d6 damage of the appropriate type, or he may spare them completely.
– Form shields of energy which function as a divine shield which can withstand up to 600 points of damage before collapsing.
– Cause others attacks of the controlled energy to miss completely or rebound back upon them.
Gateways: Firelord is able to open special gateways at will allowing him to transverse large sections of space in moments. He may transverse 1d6 light years with each gateway opened through hyperspace. He will normally open multiple gateways and fly through them at his maximum speed. (99% the speed of light)
Cosmic Fire Generation: Firelord can generate bolts of cosmic fire from his hands or eyes. He can fire the up to a range of 300 miles with no range penalties as a touch attack. He inflicts 30d6 damage on a strike. Damage is considered 1/2 fire and 1/2 divine. He is able to change the fire damage to radiation as a free action. When firing from his body the energy is raw and unchecked and he suffers a -5 penalty on all strike rolls. When focused through his staff Firelord has full control of the blast and receives a +5 on strike rolls. Firelord may also affect an area with this blast, in which case it is a cone of the same range. It allows a Reflex save (DC 42) for half damage. Either function is an attack action.
Cosmic Flame Sheath: Firelord’s body is constantly sheathed in cosmic energy replicating flame. Anyone who makes contact with him against his will suffers 25d6 damage. Half is fire and half is divine. Firelord may change the fire damage to radiation damage at will. Any projectile fired at him must make a Fort save (DC 41) or be vaporized. He is able to change the fire or radiation damage to disintegration as a free action. He also adds this damage to any hand to hand damage he inflicts.
Power Cosmic: Firelord has been imparted with incredible power by the Galactus. This manifests within the power cosmic he has granted him. Firelords powers primarily revolve around cosmic flame. He does have a number of other powers standard to all the Heralds though.
– Ability to survive in a vacuum, has no need for air, food, nor water. Firelord does require sleep however to rest his mind which is still primarily humanoid.
– +10 resistance bonus to all saves.
– Can telepathically communicate with Galactus over virtually unlimited distance. This does not include across dimensions.
– When Firelord is within 10,000 miles of any star or sun his fast healing becomes regeneration.
– Most of Firelords internal systems no longer function or even exist. He is 85% resistance to critical hits.
Superhuman Reflexes: Firelord possesses reflexes far beyond that of even those who possess superhuman speed. He is able to react in an instant with deadly results.
Firelord may attempt a reflex save against any attack that allows a save for half damage. If successful he suffers no damage and if he fails he suffers half damage. He also gains a +8 bonus to initiative checks.
Superspeed Level 3: The following benefits are provided from superspeed level 3:
+3 speed bonus to AC, attack, initiative, and Reflex saves.
+1 speed bonus to damage rolls.
Firelord may make 3 swift actions in a round.
Firelord reduces the amount of time to complete an action by 1 step, allowing him to take full-round actions a standard actions.
Characters with less than superspeed level 1 are considered flat-footed for the purposes of Firelord’s attacks. Characters with uncanny dodge have an effective superspeed level equal to their Dexterity modifier for this purpose.
Superstrength Level 4: Firelord is not the strongest of the Heralds of Galactus, but he still possesses massive superhuman strength. He can lift x16 what his strength score indicates. He also inflicts 4d6 with a slam attack in slugfest combat.
+8 bonus on melee combat damage.
+4 bonus on grapple and bull rush attempts.
Possessions:
Power Staff: Firelord carries a staff created by Galactus himself as a focus for his power. The staff is considered a +8 flaming blast quarterstaff. Firelord uses it as a focus for his flight and energy projection powers. Without the staff his flight speed is reduced to a quarter and he suffer penalties with his cosmic flame attacks. He also channels his cosmic fire sheath over the staff, thus any touching it suffer the same effects.
