Shaggy Demodand
“Unleash the Horror: Shaggy Demodands, Abyssal Wardens of Eternal Despair!”
Appearance: Shaggy Demodands embody a grotesque fusion of bestial and humanoid features, towering ominously with hulking frames covered in coarse, matted fur akin to the shadows of Carceri. Their eyes gleam with a malevolent intelligence, and their elongated limbs end in razor-sharp claws, each dripping with the essence of the abyss.
Behavior: As the self-appointed wardens of Carceri’s Tarterian Depths, Shaggy Demodands exude an aura of relentless malevolence. Their behavior is marked by a cruel efficiency, as they enforce the laws of the abyss with unwavering determination. Cunning and manipulative, they prey upon the despair of their fellow prisoners, using fear and intimidation to maintain their iron grip on power.
Habitat: Shaggy Demodands are native to the desolate landscape of Carceri, where the air is thick with the stench of decay and the echoes of eternal suffering reverberate through the barren wastes. They prowl the shadowed corridors and twisted tunnels of the abyssal prison, their presence a constant reminder of the hopelessness that permeates their realm.
Modus Operandi: Masterful in the art of manipulation, Shaggy Demodands lure unsuspecting souls into their clutches with promises of power or salvation, only to condemn them to an eternity of torment. They excel at exploiting the weaknesses of their victims, using deception and coercion to further their own dark agendas. As wardens of Carceri, they enforce the brutal laws of the plane with ruthless efficiency, ensuring that no prisoner dares to challenge their authority.
Motivation: Driven by an insatiable thirst for power and dominance, Shaggy Demodands seek to maintain their iron grip on Carceri’s Tarterian Depths. They revel in the suffering of their fellow prisoners, deriving twisted pleasure from the despair that surrounds them. Their ultimate goal is to uphold the laws of the abyss and assert their dominance over all who dare to defy them, solidifying their status as the undisputed rulers of Carceri’s darkest depths.
Demodand, Shaggy
This toad-faced humanoid is bloated and swollen, with folds of obsidian skin hanging down beneath two immense bat wings.
Shaggy demodands are obese outsiders that occupy the highest status within demodand society. The fleshy tyrants stand just under 7 feet tall and have huge bat wings capable of supporting their 600-pound weight. Their faces have the broad-set eyes of a toad and toothy underbites.
Although they still answer to their titanic masters, shaggy demodands are the masters of their kind, and serve the thanatotic titans as advisors, covert agents, or battlefield generals. In the Abyss, shaggy demodands command great armies, leading them against demonic hordes as the balance of Abyssal power ebbs and flows. Often underestimated due to their shape, these demodands are both intelligent and cunning, and approach battle with an effective mixture of strategy and ruthless detachment.
