A short, stubby serpent with scintillating spinal scales scents you and slithers slowly to strike.

Scytale are small snakes with amazingly beautiful scales that stun anyone near it.
Slow-moving animals, they rely on the mesmerizing properties of their back scales to hold creatures still long enough to kill them.
Scytale measure about 4 feet long and weigh about 4 pounds.
