Mechanical singers crafted by Hephaestus this beautiful golden statue represents an angelic figure clutching a harp in one hand and a rapier in the other. Great feathered wings stretch from their shoulders.

Taken from Creature Codex

Keledones, sometimes referred to as “golden muses”, are the inevitables tasked with protecting art and technology, the hallmarks of civilization. Such creatures are occasionally found abroad in the world as the patrons of artists, helping struggling artists find their way or bolstering the greats to even higher levels of greatness. No craft is too small for their attention—a keledon might consider shoe-making to be as worthy a goal as the composition of beautiful music.

This patronage has a darker side, however. Keledones are devoted only to that art or craft that maintains order and sustains the status quo. A painter who turns his attention to satirizing the court, a playwright whose works contain blasphemies or a metalworker who stumbles upon some revolutionary technology may all make themselves the enemies of a keledon, who will stop at nothing to discredit the artist and destroy or suppress the work.

A keledon is as tall as a human, but weighs three times as much due to their intricate metal construction. Most keledones are of female shape, but those with male or gender-neutral appearances do exist.
