You must succeed on a melee touch attack. Your touch paralyzes the creature touched by freezing its blood in its veins. It is aware and breathes normally, but cannot take any actions, even speech. Its skin is pale and very cold to the touch. Each round on its turn, the subject may attempt a new saving throw to end the effect. (This is a full-round action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.) After succeeding at a save, the creature is slowed for 1 round.
A winged creature that is paralyzed cannot flap its wings and falls. A swimmer cannot Swim and may drown. Creatures under the effects of endure elements and those without blood are unaffected by freezeblood.
Material Component: Crushed ruby worth at least 10gp.
