Peter Stumpp the “Werewolf of Bedburg”
A cannibal serial killer, Peter Stumpp is a one-armed farmer who has been secretly murdering peasants from surrounding villages for over 25 years.
He has practiced black magic since he was twelve years old. A Demon has given him a magical item, which enables him to metamorphose into “the likeness of a greedy, devouring wolf, strong and mighty, with eyes great and large, which in the night sparkled like fire, a mouth great and wide, with most sharp and cruel teeth, a huge body, and mighty paws.” Removing it transforms him back to his human form.
Stumpp is an “insatiable bloodsucker” who leaves his village to gorge on the flesh of goats, lambs, and sheep, as well as men, women, and children. Killing and eating fourteen children, two pregnant women, whose fetuses he ripped from their wombs and “ate their hearts panting hot and raw,” which describes as “dainty morsels.” One of the fourteen children was his own son, whose brain he devoured.
Not only is Stumpp a serial murderer and cannibal, he is also having an incestuous relationship with his daughter. Who he fathered with an succubus sent to him by his demon master.
