The Terminator series is a science fiction franchise created by James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd. It encompasses a series of films, comics, novels, and additional media concerning battles between Skynet‘s synthetic intelligent machine network, and John Connor‘s Resistance forces and the rest of the human race. Skynet’s most well-known products in its genocidal goals are the various terminator models, such as the T-800 (Model 101), who was portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger from the first film, and similar units he also portrayed in the later films. As of February 2010, the franchise has generated $3 billion in revenue.

The Terminator

In the Year of Darkness, 2029, the rulers of this planet devised the ultimate plan. They would reshape the Future by changing the Past. The plan required something that felt no pity. No pain. No fear. Something unstoppable. They created ‘THE TERMINATOR’

The Terminator is a 1984 American science-fiction action film directed by James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose son will one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future. Michael Biehn plays Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future sent back in time to protect Connor. The screenplay is credited to Cameron, along with producer Gale Anne Hurd. Executive producers John Daly and Derek Gibson of Hemdale Film Corporation were instrumental in the film’s financing and production.

The Terminator topped the US box office for two weeks and helped launch Cameron’s film career and solidify Schwarzenegger’s. It received critical acclaim, with many praising its pacing, action scenes and Schwarzenegger’s performance. Its success led to a franchise consisting of four sequels (Terminator 2: Judgment DayTerminator 3: Rise of the MachinesTerminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys), a television series, comic books, novels and video games. In 2008, The Terminator was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry, being deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.

The T-101 is a sophisticated assassin cyborg that is sent back from the future by wealthy and powerful individuals trying to alter the past to change the future. The T-101 is utterly emotionless, it takes no joy in anything and follows directions to the letter. They are extremely efficient and effective at what they are programmed to do, which usually includes killing some individual. If their restraining bolts are removed, they are free to do as they please, and most develop personality quirks.

Combat

The Terminator shoots with its shotgun or bashes opponents until they are dead. They are especially good at terminating humans, which was what they were originally designed to do.

Anatomy Library (Ex) The T-101 has a vast library in its memory bank concerning human anatomy. This gives the terminator an edge when trying to eliminate human target. They inflict 3 additional points of damage to human targets with any weapon they use.
Assassin Protocols (Ex) Terminators posses an uncanny sense of where to hit a target. They know where to hit where it hurts and gain the feats Improved Critical and Power Critical with whatever weapons they use.

Society
While they appear human on the outside, Terminators are nothing but human flesh thrown over a cold, metal body and they act the part. The terminator is completely emotionless, humorless and uncaring unless its restraining bolt is removed. No terminator will let its restraining bolt be removed as part of their protocols, but once this is done, they are open to new learning and develop true emotions.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The T-1000 (Advanced Prototype Terminator Infiltrator Series 1 Model 1A Type 1000) was a fictional android assassin, featured as the main antagonist in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

T-1000, played by the actor Robert Patrick in the male appearance it assumed throughout most of the movie, was an extremely advanced Terminator made of a liquid mimetic polyalloy. It was able to morph its liquid metal form to impersonate people and objects in order to get closer to its target.

A man stands by the doorway. You recognize him and almost call out his name, but then you remember that he was reported brutally murdered. He stares at you with inhuman intensity and walks toward you.

The Terminator Advanced Prototype 1000 (T-1000 for short), is possible the most capable assassin around. While only a prototype, it does its job with jaw-dropping efficiency and cruelty. While their predecessors are emotionless and uncaring, the T-1000 takes great joy in its job and always takes extra time to torment their targets before they kill them. They can mimic voices and take on the forms of those they kill, these added to the fact that they are nearly indestructible make them killing machines.

Combat

The T-1000 is virtually indestructible, and they know it. Their bodies have few weaknesses, and their enemies rarely know how to destroy them. They take great joy in causing fear and often stalk their prey for days before finally ending the poor soul.

Advanced Anatomy Library (Sp) After additional years of study, the T-1000 has an even higher understanding of the human body and is even more ruthlessly effective when trying to eliminate humans. They deal an extra 5 points of damage against human targets with any attack.

Advanced Assassin Protocols (Sp) More sophisticated methods of assassination have been integrated into the T-1000’s memory bank. This takes the form or giving the creature the feats Improved Critical and Power Critical with any weapons it uses, plus it gains a +8 bonus to any skills checks directly involving its target, such as Gather Information and Hide, but not Heal.

Prototype Body (Ex) The T-1000’s liquid metal body provides it with several benefits and few drawbacks. First and most importantly, the T-1000 can assume the form of any humanoid it has come in contact with, becoming a perfect duplicate of the creature. This takes a full-round action to fully assume the form of the creature. It can also cause sharp protrusions from its hand in an Edward Scissorhands-esque fashion, dealing damage as indicated above (piercing damage). Secondly, the Terminator’s body is nearly indestructible, being made of liquid metal. It continues to regenerate even if brought to negative hit points. The only known way to permanently decommission a T-1000 is to drop it into molten rock, metal or another equally hot source, such as a volcano. The T-1000 has not been perfected yet, and its body does have one serious weakness, cold. Any cold attack causes the creature to malfunction, although it will still try to kill you. This takes the effect of a slow spell, but lasting 3d6 minutes as its body gradually warms up.

Voice Mimic (Su) The T-1000 can perfectly mimic any voice it has heard. It often uses this in conjunction with its Prototype body to set up ambushes, catching its target completely off guard.
