Maxima is a fictional comic book character in DC Comics.

She is known for searching for mates among Earth’s superpowered male population; as a result, Superman becomes her obsession. Morally ambiguous, she occasionally serves both as an adversary for Superman and a superheroine working as a member of the Justice League.

Amerac Trained: Raised from birth to be a fierce warrior, Maxima gains the bonus feats and unarmed strike of a fighter and monk of her hit dice. She also possesses a +2 bonus to attack and damage while using a staff or spear or when fighting unarmed.

Psionics: Maxima possesses several psionic powers. For the purposes of power resistance, she manifests powers at 22nd level.

Detect thoughts: Will save DC 27 negates. Power resistance applies.

Mind Thrust: As a ranged touch attack (100 foot range) requiring a standard action, Maxima may deal 15d6 force damage. Power resistance applies.

Telekinesis: Fortitude DC 27 negates.

Telepathy: Maxima’s unfocused telepathy has a range of 1000 feet. With an intense action, she may extend this distance to 10 miles.

Superspeed Level 8 (Ex): The following benefits are provided from Superspeed level 8:

  • +8 speed bonus to AC, reflex saves and initiative
  • +8 speed bonus to attacks
  • +4 speed bonus to melee damage rolls.
  • Maxima may take 8 additional swift actions per round.
  • Maxima reduces the amount of time to complete an action by 2 steps, allowing her to take full round actions as move actions and move actions as immediate actions.
  • Characters with less than Superspeed level 4 are considered flat-footed for the purposes of Maxima’s attacks. Characters with Uncanny Dodge have an effective Superspeed Level equal to their Dexterity modifier for this purpose.
  • When using the run action, Maxima moves at 20 times her normal speed.

Superstrength Level 3 (Ex):

  • +6 melee damage bonus.
  • +3 bonus on grapple and bull rush checks.
  • Lift capacity x8.

Skills: Maxima has a +10 insight bonus on Sense Motive checks.
