Lahar along with his sister are servants sent by Enlil and Enki from the sky down to earth in order to make abundant its cattle. Created in the creation chamber of the gods to serve the Annunnaki. When the Annunnaki were found unable to make use of their products, humankind was created to provide an outlet for their services. It has ears of corn sprouting from its shoulders. and carries a bow and club.
