Innate Spellcasting. Helios’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 31). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: daylight, fireball (as a 9th-level spell), sunburst
    3/day each: flame strike, heal
    1/day each: sunbeam, resurrection

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Helios fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

    Actions
Multiattack. Helios can use his Fabled Gaze and make two attacks with his Solar Flare.

Solar Flare. Melee Weapon Attack: +22 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 35 (4d10 + 14) radiant damage.

Fabled Gaze. Helios targets one creature he can see within 60 feet of him. If the target can see Helios, the target must succeed on a DC 25 Wisdom saving throw or be blinded until the end of Helios’s next turn.

Sun Chariot (Recharge 5-6). Helios summons his golden chariot, allowing him to move up to his flying speed without provoking opportunity attacks and emits a blinding light. Each creature within 60 feet of Helios must make a DC 25 Constitution saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

    Legendary Actions
He can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Helios regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Detect. Helios makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Blinding Radiance (Costs 2 Actions). He radiates intense light. Each creature of Helios’s choice that he can see within 120 feet of him must succeed on a DC 25 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of their next turn.
Solar Nova (Costs 3 Actions). Helios erupts with solar energy in a 120-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a DC 31 Dexterity saving throw, taking 88 (16d10) radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

    Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Helios can take a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Helios can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

    • Helios illuminates the lair with intense sunlight. Until initiative count 20 on the next round, the light grants advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
    • Helios calls forth a beam of sunlight at one point he can see within 120 feet of him. Each creature in a 10-foot radius of that point must succeed on a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw or take 44 (8d10) radiant damage.

    Regional Effects
The region containing Helios’s lair is warped by his divine presence, which creates one or more of the following effects:

    • The temperature within 6 miles of the lair is always warm and pleasant, regardless of the weather outside.
    • Sunlight within 6 miles of the lair is particularly intense, providing bright light even in areas that would normally be in shadow.
    • Creatures within 6 miles of the lair have difficulty keeping secrets and are compelled to speak the truth as if under the effect of a zone of truth spell.

If Helios dies, these effects fade over the course of 3d10 days.

Helios rises with the sun, as he does every day. He steps out of his chariot, the golden rays of light reflecting off his armor. He surveys the world below him, the bustling cities and the endless sea, and feels a sense of pride in his work. He knows that it is his duty to bring light to the world, and he takes that responsibility seriously.

As the 1450s roll around, Helios has been keeping a watchful eye on the world below. He has seen the rise of the Ottomans and the fall of Constantinople, and he knows that the world is changing. He is particularly intrigued by the Renaissance, and the new ideas that are coming out of Italy. He sees it as a time of great potential, and he wants to help guide humanity towards a brighter future.

Helios spends much of his time travelling the world, visiting different countries and spreading his message of hope and enlightenment. He meets with artists, scholars, and thinkers, and encourages them to pursue their passions and push the boundaries of knowledge. He believes that by doing so, humanity can achieve great things.

Despite his optimism, Helios is not blind to the challenges facing the world. He sees the greed and corruption of the ruling classes, and the suffering of the common people. He knows that there is much work to be done, and he is determined to do his part. He wants to inspire humanity to build a better world, one that is based on justice, equality, and compassion.

As the sun begins to set, Helios returns to his chariot, ready to start another day. He knows that the road ahead will be long and difficult, but he is undeterred. He is filled with a sense of purpose and determination, and he knows that as long as there is darkness in the world, he will continue to shine his light.
