“Legendary Writer” – Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950) was an American author who is best known for creating the iconic character Tarzan. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Burroughs worked a number of jobs before becoming a full-time writer in his thirties.

Burroughs’ first novel, “A Princess of Mars,” was published in 1912 and marked the beginning of his successful career as a writer of science fiction and adventure stories. He went on to write dozens of novels over the course of his career, including several sequels to the Tarzan series.
