Sonic Pulse. Melee Spell Attack: +7 to hit, reach 120 ft., one target. Hit: 27 (4d10 + 3) thunder damage. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be deafened for 1 minute.

Oceanic Resonance (Recharge 5-6). It releases a powerful resonance that extends in a 60-foot radius. All creatures in that area must make a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be pushed back 20 feet and knocked prone. Additionally, they take 21 (6d6) thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The area becomes difficult terrain until the end of the Bloop’s next turn.


Legendary Actions

The Bloop can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The Bloop regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Echoing Dissonance. It uses Sonic Pulse.

Hydrodynamic Shift (Costs 2 Actions). It moves up to its swim speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Abyssal Retreat (Costs 3 Actions). The Bloop vanishes into the water, becoming invisible until the start of its next turn.
